other images...north, south and eastwards...








...duchess loved to bathe "au natural". She had discovered, on one of her many travels, from north america down to brazil, the perfect bath, a waterfall shaped like a huge round basin. Another favourite bathing spot, was boulders beach at simonstown in the cape. Unfortunately, the antarctic penguins had also discovered the beauty of boulders, and completely overtaken the beach. One day, a few penguins had arrived out of the blue, taken one look, swum back out to sea, only to return again, with 1000's of other little black and white creatures, with red eyes, like themselves. So, she had found some other boulders to bolter in, amongst the isles of taiwan, where bathing at sunrise was a breathtaking experience, beautiful beyond belief. Whenever she travelled through the green rolling hills and dales of england, she would long to run, on and on, until breathless, she could fling herself onto the ground, and look up and marvel at the vast endless blueness of the sky. Then, along the windswept coastline of yorkshire to the sea at southwold, she would marvel at the equally vast endless blueness of the sea. Finally, following the wind eastwards, she arrived at a windmill park, where man's struggle to tame the elements, by catching the wind, had resulted in the ability to power entire cities, which never ceased to amaze her...
